ME Group appoints Rob Cooper as Group Chief Executive Officer

The ME Group is pleased to announce it has appointed Rob Cooper as Group Chief Executive Officer. Rob, a co-founder of the group, takes up his role with immediate effect.

Rob is an expert in financial services regulation, and business automation through cloud-based platforms. Rob is also Chief Executive Officer of Forbes Ventures, a FinTech focused NEX listed investment vehicle, as well as having led numerous successful start-ups in the financial and technology sectors.

A former Trading Standards Officer, he previously worked with the then Department for Business Innovation and Skills consulting on Better Regulation. Whilst with Trading Standards he worked with the Office of Fair Trading on the delivery of Consumer Direct (the government’s national consumer helpline). His last role in the public sector was as part of the management team implementing the regulation of the claims management industry, after which he founded Scott Robert an advisory business to the financial services industry on governance, risk and compliance.
